Helping Out Your Neighbors
One of Zilla’s dreams, and we dream big, is the idea of getting teens out and about and engaged in their communities. Neighbors, who most likely need help in some capacity. We get that every neighborhood is unique, but regardless of your neighborhood being suburban, rural, or urban or somewhere in between, the common factor in every neighborhood, is that some trusted neighbors need your help.
Just think about the older neighbors who might need help with technology, or the single mother who is raising young children and needs help with afternoon childcare; the fact is that you, as a Zillapreneur, have trusted neighbors nearby that could use your help. While Zilla, for obvious safety reasons, does not technically allow for adults or neighbors to search for teens offering services, we do envision our young Zillapreneurs, with networking help from mom or dad or nearby neighbors, building a small network of trusted Patrons. The good news is that most Zillapreneurs won’t need to build a big network of Patrons, as a small core group of Patrons will likely keep you busy.
Again, our vision at Zilla is simple. We aim to help teens engage with communities in which they live, not only providing valuable services, but becoming good community stewards as they build their small community ZillaBiz.
